17 in 2017 Project Pan Update #6

17 in 2017 Project Pan Update 6

Time for another update on my 17 in 2017 Project Pan. I had a little more progress this month but it seems to be slowing down a bit more towards the end of the year.

1. FINISHED Rollerball Perfume – Replica-Beach Walk

2. Mac Extra Dimension Eyeshadow in Lorelei

I hit pan on this! I honestly thought it would take me a lot longer to hit pan but I got there! I still have a ways to go before I totally finish it, but i’ll keep working on it as much as possible. I’ll most likely end up carrying it over into a project pan next year.

3. DECLUTTERED Cream Product- Benefit Majorette Blush

4. Item you Love/Hate – Nest- Amazon Lily Perfume

I finished this one shortly after the last update. I didn’t have too much left so it was pretty easy. As I’ve mentioned before, while the scent was nice once it settled, I don’t think I’d repurchase it.

5. FINISHED Highlighter- Smashbox- Hollywood & Highlight Stick

6. FINISHED Loose Powder Product – Tarte-Smooth Operator Loose Powder

7. DECLUTTERED – Something you haven’t used in a year- Korres Lip Butter- Plum

8. Something from an Indie Brand – Lunatick Labs- Mystifying Mattifying Pressed Powder

I finished this as well! Once I repressed it, it was much easier to use up. I really liked this powder for setting my face and it worked well for touching up during the day as well. I’d repurchase it but only after I go through a few more of my back up powders (and there are a lot).

9. FINISHED – Sample- Davines- OI All In One Milk Spray

10. DECLUTTERED Product with Beautiful Packaging – Kat Von D- Por Vida Blush

11. ColourPop Item – Colour Pop’s Overboard Eyeliner.

I’ve made steady progress on this product over the last month and I’m confident that I’ll be able to finish it up by the end of the year. I’ll be sad to see it go but I’ll definitely repurchase eventually.

12. FINISHED Blush –Rimmel- Santa Rose

13. Something in a Stick/Tube- Colour Pop Lippie Stix in Lumiere

Steady progress on this guy as well! I love this color for this time of year. I’m not totally sure I can finish the whole thing by the end of the year but I think I’ll get pretty close.

14. Something You’re Loving Right Now- Colour Pop- Wisp Highlighter

Once I hit pan on this, it feels like I’ve made no progress since. Even though I use it every day. I know it’s flattening out a little bit but I know I won’t be able to finish it by the end of the year. I’ll be rolling this one over into my 2018 Project Pan.

15. Item of Choice- Urban Decay Pulp Fiction Palette

I repressed the darkest brown shade and have since hit pan again on this shade. I’ve also started using the lighter brown shade as a bronzer and it’s been working well. I’m making steady progress and am going to consider repressing the two other full pans to help in my progress. Not sure the whole palette will be used up by the end of the year, but I’m definitely getting my money’s worth.

16. Item in a color you don’t normally wear- Nars- Funny Face Lipstick

I don’t think I wore this at all in the past month. It’s just such a summer color to me that I find myself reaching for other things now that it’s fall. I don’t want to declutter it since the color and formula are so pretty, but I’m not sure how much more I’ll use it this year. I’m going to try and play around and incorporate it into some holiday looks to see if I can get more use out of it.

17. FINISHED Product you dislike- Bare Minerals Buttercream Gloss- Sugar

17 In 2017 Project Pan Update 6 - Progress

This has been a really eye opening experience so far and I feel like I’ve learned a lot. I’ll do a full “things I learned” post at the finale but for now, I’m going to keep on trucking.

Happy Panning!
