17 in 2017 Project Pan – Update #7

17 in 2017 Update #7

This is the last update before the finale in the new year! I’m really proud of the progress I’ve made so far and I only have 5 more products to work on!

1. FINISHED Rollerball Perfume – Replica-Beach Walk

2. Mac Extra Dimension Eyeshadow in Lorelei

Still working on this one. I’ve expanded the pan a tiny bit but it’s a very densely packed shadow so I haven’t been going through it very quickly. I’m still enjoying using this one and will probably roll it over into my Project Pan for next year.

3. DECLUTTERED Cream Product- Benefit Majorette Blush

4. FINISHED Item you Love/Hate – Nest- Amazon Lily Perfume

5. FINISHED Highlighter- Smashbox- Hollywood & Highlight Stick

6. FINISHED Loose Powder Product – Tarte-Smooth Operator Loose Powder

7. DECLUTTERED – Something you haven’t used in a year- Korres Lip Butter- Plum

8. FINISHED Something from an Indie Brand – Lunatick Labs- Mystifying Mattifying Pressed Powder

9. FINISHED – Sample- Davines- OI All In One Milk Spray

10. DECLUTTERED Product with Beautiful Packaging – Kat Von D- Por Vida Blush

11. ColourPop Item – Colour Pop’s Overboard Eyeliner.

Finished this one! I didn’t have too much left after the last update so I was able to use up the rest pretty quickly. I really liked this eyeliner and plan on repurchasing in the future.

12. FINISHED Blush –Rimmel- Santa Rose

13. Something in a Stick/Tube- Colour Pop Lippie Stix in Lumiere

I’m making really good progress on this one. I kind of can’t believe how much progress I’ve made. I have really only been using this and one other lipstick this past month and I think if I continue on that path I’ll be able to use it up completely.

14. Something You’re Loving Right Now- Colour Pop- Wisp Highlighter

I’ve expanded the pan a little on this and I’ve started focusing on one section at a time until I hit side pan. I don’t think I’ll be able to use up the whole thing but will definitely roll this over into a Project Pan next year.

15. Item of Choice- Urban Decay Pulp Fiction Palette

I repressed and then hit pan again on the cream and lighter brown color which is encouraging. I’ve also continued to use the lighter brown shadow as a bronzer and it’s worked out quite well for me if I use a light hand. Now that I’ve chosen an all shimmer palette for my December One Month, One Palette, I’m confident that I can use up most of this before the end of the year. We shall see!

16. Item in a color you don’t normally wear- Clinique Almost Lipstick – Black Honey

I decided to remove the  Nars- Funny Face Lipstick from the project pan since I knew I wasn’t going to use it much in the end of the year. I didn’t want to declutter it because I still really like the formula and the color, but it’s just not getting as much love this time of year. I really prefer it in the spring and summer. I’ve replaced it for the last month with the Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey. I don’t have too much of this left and I’ve been reaching for it a lot as a sort of tinted balm. It goes on much more sheer than it looks in the tube and is nice and moisturizing. It’s not my favorite product in the world and I find that it does settle onto dry patches on lips. But it’s easy to wear and apply and suits the makeup I’ve been wearing in this time of year.

17. FINISHED Product you dislike- Bare Minerals Buttercream Gloss- Sugar

17 in 2017 Update 7 Usage Detail

We’re almost to the finale of my first major Project Pan! I’m so proud of the progress I’ve made and I’m looking forward to next year’s Project Pan where I’m going to try a different format and see how that goes.

Looking forward to the next year and Happy Panning!
